Abstract:	From the customer’s point of view, the travel time between the start and destination of their travel chain is an important quality indicator. A travel chain can use several means of transport. The connection time between the means of transport should therefore be as short as possible. We discuss approaches how to map the travel chains planned by the transport companies with the help of flexible connections in LinTim (see Kroon et al. 2012). The goal is to calculate a timetable that maps the travel chains via optimised connection times.
