| Zusammenfassung: | This is the second deliverable for WP8, which is developing the prototype of a European cities benchmarking platform, aiming at providing valuable information to support the decision-making process, thus improving City services. The starting point of the report is the realisation of the nature of benchmarking platforms, which try to determine the relevant intellectual capital that explains the competitive gap in each specific activity and to use it as a comparison basis in order to determine the differences with the best competitor in the same activity. This tool will measure and compare the presence, deployment and usage of Information Technologies in cities by using some suitable indicators for the promotion of sustainable cities. |
