| Zusammenfassung: | The acceptance of the mass immigration initiative in Switzerland meant that public interest was on, among other things, the future of the Erasmus Programme in the Swiss context. Journalists wanted to know what the universities intended to do, and students who had applied for a place on an Erasmus programme were, naturally, even more eager to find out what was going to happen. This urgent call for clarification placed those working in international offices in a difficult situation, as the information they themselves held was insufficient to meet the demands. How should they communicate the information they had at their disposal and to whom? In this workshop, we will first be looking at how to deal with the media. Then we will focus on communicating information to students: What should be said and how should it be said? We are also interested in hearing about any experiences you may have had in this area. |
