dc.description | Invited speaker / guest lecture (online) | de_CH |
dc.description.abstract | The talk focuses on key strategic initiatives in teaching and research at the IUED Institute of Translation and Interpreting, together with their operationalisation and results, to indicate more general trends in the Translation Studies community, highlighting areas in which fruitful didactic and research approaches have been, can be and should be applied. It elaborates on the themes of technology use, translator roles and responsibilities, and the growing diversification taking place in the language industry. The scope of the lecture embraces teaching, research and transdisciplinary social and community initiatives in human-machine interaction and in interlingual and intralingual, accessible communication. | de_CH |
