| Abstract: | Fast jedem sind Placebos und die daran gekoppelten Effekte ein Begriff. Sie stehen meist als Synonym für einen „eingebildeten Nutzen“, wenn die „richtige Medizin“ durch „Leergut“ ersetzt wird. Um den Wünschen des Patienten nachzukommen, wird also etwas vorgegaukelt, getrickst und getäuscht. Nicht zuletzt deshalb bewertet so mancher den Placeboeffekt noch immer negativ. Für die meisten hat sich dies jedoch längst geändert. Wissenschaftlich wird der Placeboeffekt heute als Zusatznutzen verstanden, der eine Therapie optimieren kann. |
