| Abstract: | Ein imposanter Habitus, gesundes, elegant überhängendes grünes oder buntes Laub, fedrige Blütenstände, eine leuchtende Herbstfärbung und als Krönung die stabile Winterstruktur. Das Chinaschilf präsentiert sich so als ideale Gerüst- oder Solitärpflanze für Garten und Terrasse und bildet deshalb eine sehr wichtige Zierpflanzengruppe in Produktion und Verwendung. Beobachtungen zeigen, dass Miscanthus zur Versamung neigen können. Eine von der Gartenbaustiftung unterstützte Studie an der Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften (ZHAW) in Wädenswil hat nun das Versamungspotential von 27 in der Schweiz gängigen Sorten untersucht und verglichen. |
