| Abstract: | While highly interconnected networks can exhibit both, positive and negative implications for the associated real-world systems – and have in fact done so in the past of humankind – China’s Belt and Road Initiative comes alongside high hopes, great opportunities and tremendous ramifications on a global-strategic scale. In this talk, we will examine from a network perspective which opportunities China’s epic venture might have for advancing Asia’s and the world’s transition towards a sustainable economy. |
