To support the development of the OT profession and work towards a just and inclusive society, political reasoning skills should be included in OT education. In Switzerland, the socio-political situation is characterized by a historically stable direct democracy and federal republic, where societal forces are counterbalanced and inhabitants feel less need to become politically active. During the last semester of the bachelor program at the Zurich University of Applied Science (ZHAW), a variety of different methods, for example, stakeholder observation, a policy game, non-violent conflict training, and public writing skills are used to address political reasoning attitudes and skills of students.de_CH
