Abstract:	Das Konzept der risikoorientierten Bewährungshilfe basiert auf dem Grundgedanken, dass sich die Arbeit der Bewährungshilfe auf die Kernaufgaben konzentrieren und dazu bestimmte Kompetenzen entwickeln muss. Im Vordergrund steht dabei die Reduktion des Rückfallrisikos der Klienten als zentrale Aufgabe der Arbeit mit Straffälligen. Wer, wenn nicht die Fachleute der Bewährungshilfe, sollte die Risikominderung als vorrangiges Arbeitsziel verfolgen und die dafür nötigen Kompetenzen und Instrumente entwickeln?
