| Zusammenfassung: | Introduction: Supporting the digital transition in occupational therapy is of great importance to ensure therapeutic care in the long term. Telerehabilitation is an appropriate and effective way of providing therapeutic services additionally to in-person treatment for individuals after stroke. In this poster I would like to present my ongoing research project. Objectives: The research aims are to review, develop, and evaluate tele-assessments and tele-intervention for rehabilitation after stroke. Methods: Following project steps will be implemented (1) Systematic review about observational tele-assessments for sensorimotor rehabilitation after stroke, (2) Development of a webcam-based tele-assessment of motor compensation, and (3) Qualitative study on the use of videos for participants’ and caregiver’s education and therapy in telerehabilitation. Results: This research will support implementation of telerehabilitation after stroke in occupational therapy practice. The results aim to raise awareness on the topic of telerehabilitation. Clients, caregivers and occupational therapists’ perspectives and needs will be represented. Conclusion: The development and presentation of assessments and intervention in telerehabilitation makes an important contribution to the implementation of therapy at a distance in occupational therapy. The project aims to provide therapists with an evidence-based foundation to use in their clinical decision-making process. |
