| Abstract: | Loin de la terre des champs et de l'humus des forêts, le sol des villes reste le grand oublié des aménageurs. Pourtant quoi de plus réel, de plus élémentaire que l'endroit où l'on marche, où le bipède urbain - marcheur novice, rêveur ou piéton chancelant - posera ses pas jusqu'au grand départ, les pieds devant. Un terrain d'aventures qui ne demande qu'à être conquis. Far from your meadows and green forest floors, our daily tread seems not to concern designers. But what could be more basic and real than the street beneath our feet, where the urban biped, the amateur stroller, the dreamer and the insecure pedestrian are condemned to shuffle off this mortal coil?
