Abstract: The radio standard was designed by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). It operates in the license free ISM band (Industrial, Scientific and Medical band). The main focus of Bluetooth Smart is on ultra-low power instead of enhanced data dates. The BLE specification does not describe the use of data exchange during advertising by default. In this work different approaches have been elaborated to transmit bits of information in advertising mode in both directions.
