| Abstract: | Auf der Basis einer empirischen Studie zu Workplace-Organisation und -Strategiebildung von elf multinationalen Großunternehmen wird die Positionierung von Workplace Management in Organisationen diskutiert. Workplace Management als Funktion in der Verantwortung für die strategische und operative Steuerung von Arbeitsumgebungen sollte durch eine Workplace Governance geleitet werden. Die Workplace Governance ist ein Rahmenwerk von Regeln, das die funktionalen Bereichsinteressen (z. B. von HR, IT, CREM) integriert und mit übergeordneten strategischen Zielen verbindet. Zusätzlich werden auf Basis der Facility-Management-Norm (DIN EN 15.221-1 oder SN EN 15.221-1) und der Richtlinie Prozess-/Leistungsmodell im Facility Management (ProLeMo) Leistungskategorien für den Betrieb von Arbeitsplatzumgebungen präsentiert. Based on an empirical study on workplace organization and strategy formation of eleven multinational corporations, the positioning of workplace management in organizations is discussed. Workplace Management as a function in the responsibility for the strategic and operational control of working environments should be guided by Workplace Governance. Workplace Governance is a framework of rules that integrates the functional divisional interests (e.g. of HR, IT, CREM) and links them to higher strategic goals. In addition, performance categories for the operation of workplace environments are presented based on the facility management norm (DIN EN 15.221-1 or SN EN 15.221-1) and the facility management process / performance model (ProLeMo). |
