dc.description.abstract | We employed a study with a time series design to evaluate the effectiveness of powered mobility training in two children with cerebral palsy using following assessments: mobility in meters/session, the Assessment of Learning Powered Mobility Use (ALP), Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS), Paediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory (PEDI), and Evaluation of Social Interaction (ESI). The results revealed clinically meaningful intervention effects measured with the ALP, AMPS, and ESI, partly clinically meaningful effects measured with the scaled and with the t-values of the PEDI. We conclude that powered mobility training has an effect on children’s mobility, on their levels of learning, their quality of social interaction and task performance. | de_CH |
