Abstract: In the research project NOVANIMAL, a 12-week field experiment on meal choice was conducted in two university canteens. The transdisciplinary field experiment is a joint project of the catering company SV Schweiz, the ZHAW Facility Management and the research team. In this report we describe the research design, preparation and implementation of the field experiment, datasets and the opportunities and challenges of a real world lab project.
