Lectures changed in the last couple of years. New concepts like flipped classroom, MOOCs, online learning classes and platforms like Moodle, ShareLaTeX and Google Scholar, to mention a few, changed the university's daily business. When it comes to application of knowledge, professional practice and understanding of practical examples becomes necessary to understand the context as a whole. Most often a practical context is interdisciplinary, difficult to offer and, therefore, not present at all. Cases often are not realistic, or a tool is just mentioned but not used. With the help of SAS, we bring the existing pieces together and add the missing pieces. Therefore we are able to teach students the basics, knowledge and approaches in a practical context of analytics and technology, including marketing and the business. This approach is a good examples of a collaboration between a vendor and the university. We also see that the collaboration within an interdisciplinary setup to run a curriculum in such a way is possible.de_CH
